Progress! - This Is Why We Do It

 Xyle has been part of our daily program since he was about six years old. Initially, he spent his days lying down in a bed and was unable to sit due to poor neck control. Through the intervention of the speech therapist, Xyle now chews soft food and eats everything.

Xyle sits unsupported for a good period of time, interacting with his peers.

He is now a part of the Outreach Program where he is learning to take steps using the aid of a walker.  

Congratulations to the first-ever graduates from The Friends Developmental Centre. We are super proud of their accomplishments and wish them the best

June 2024- Our theme was " Under the Sea and we did some sensory cooking!

May 2024- Denea got a new state of the art wheelchair; our students completed a lot of artwork; a new gait trainer!

March 2024- Mrs . Colbourne, Ms Kesia DeSilver & Ms Latoya Blair were awarded end-of-term prizes for their term contribution

January 8th 2024-First Day Back & putting our newly acquired donations to use. Huge thank you to our donators ( Patrice Gryger via the Swiss Embassy).
